GTLoan is a responsive web application platform that comprises a frontend website and a backend application that automates Client processes in 3 key areas:

Credit requests, processing and management:

  • Provision of an automated loan request interface that simplifies the process of loan requests.
  • Support for customers’ ability to generate repayment schedules based on loan amount, tenor and type of loan.
  • Support for customers’ ability to send in required documentation during the loan application process.
  • Support for customers’ ability to make payment online for rentals or pre-liquidate an existing loan
  • Provision of an integration interface to your loan booking application for rendering customer loan position in customers account
  • Provision of an integration interface for online payment of maturing loan.
  • Robust reporting interface that provides a high and detailed level view of loan portfolio.

Adding value to other partner businesses:

  • Ability to track and report actual purchase status (as part of business referral) customers who are referred from Client website.
  • Hyperlink of Client merchant partner website for customers who wants Client to finance such purchases for them.

Deposit taking be allowing customers invests in your loan request:

  • Provision of an online wallet for all customers which can be funded online and Bank branch.
  • Support for customers’ ability to invests these deposits in loans for higher return on investment.
  • Provision of an integration interface that syncs with your deposit management application.

How it Works

Credit request and processing

  • Customer visits website.
  • Fills request form and attaches required documents and clicks on send.
  • System notifies Client loan review officer who then reviews loan request (s)
  • If all seem fine, a tentative approval is clicked or declined from the log of loan requests.
  • If approval is given, it then triggers notification to customer to pay a flat fee for search and Bank Verification Number validation. This email comes with a button that hyperlinks to a unique page where evidence of payment is attached.
  • Customer attaches evidence of payment and sends.
  • Review officer conducts search and gives 2nd stage approval or decline based on search outcome.
  • Once approved, customer gets another mail notification to validate BVN. Customer enters BVN details and a unique code is sent to the customers registered number when registering for his BVN.
  • Customer enters code and BVN is validated.
  • Customer clicks on next to enter guarantor’s details, BVN validation link is also sent to 2 specified guarantors once customers click send.
  • Guarantors go through the same BVN validation process with customers notified once BVN validation is done.
  • Once validation is concluded and loan approved, customer gets a link to download offer letter and loan agreement which he signs, scans and uploads signed copies and clicks on send
  • Loan officer sees pending loans to be booked, and processes loan booking backend.
  • Once loan is booked from your core loan booking application backend, system updates customer account via an API integration of status and actual loan account statement.

Deposit taking

  • Customer logs into account section.
  • Clicks on fund wallet.
  • He can make payment online to instantly fund wallet or generate a unique code which he takes to the bank to make payment.
  • Once payment is made at the Bank using that unique code on pay direct, customer’s wallet is immediately credited.
  • Customers whose wallet are being funded “may” be allowed to see pending loan requests and can decide to invests in the loan for higher returns and with higher liability than a guaranteed return on wallet balances.
  • Integration is also required to your deposit management application for proper interest reporting on customer account.

Web-based User Access

  • The solution is implemented as a single central installation accessed from standard browser applications over any local or wide area network or via the Internet
  • In order to gain access to system features, the application requires users to authenticate their access using unique and secure usernames & passwords.

User Role Management Module:

  • This provides functionality for the creation or modification of User Roles as well as assignment or reassignment of rights to create and modify other roles within the System.
  • Users Roles are defined by assigning functions which may be executed by each role including but not restricted to Add/Edit, View, and Enable/Disable of system entities.
  • This module also provides functionality for the creation or modification of System User information as well as user assignment or reassignment to pre-defined User Roles on the System.
  • These User roles have fixed access and interactive privileges based on the purpose of each User in the system and according to the functions defined for that user at configuration time.

Customer Management

  • Allows authorized users view manage customer information
  • Provides an interface for authorized users to reset customer password.
  • Provide an interface for activating and deactivating customer accounts

Audit Trail Module:

  • This captures information on every interaction performed within the system.
  • This information includes the following; who performed it (User credentials), when it was performed (Date/Time), what action was performed (Create, Update, Delete), what data was changed as well as the previous state of any data change.

Loan Management:

  • This provides an interface for viewing loan applications made by customers.
  • This provides an interface for transferring the approved loan applications to a loan platform via API.
  • Provides an interface for approving and declining loan application
  • Provides an interface for updating repayment history for a particular loan.

Security and Control:

  • The system generally enforces logins using secure user IDs and passwords
  • Use of session time outs after periods of inactivity
  • Enforcement of single login sessions for each user
  • Support for standard data encryption algorithms and other security protocols as used by payment processors

Reports

  • Provides an interface to generate following reports for any financial day or date range from the platform
    • Repayment History for a particular loan
    • The number of repayments done in a particular day.
    • Number of active and defaulting loans.

System Configuration

  • Allows the for configuration email accounts to get specific email notification
  • Provides an interface for users to set up the various email accounts that are meant to receive the various reports.

Upload Centre

  • Providers an interface for the organisation to upload repayments that been made outside the portal.
