CouponServ is a platform that enables your business offer promotional and discount issuance and redemption, out-of-the-box to businesses. It offers the following key functionalities:

• Provision of coupon and discount issuance to merchants at Zero cost to the client other than the implementation cost of the project.
• Support for both online and brick and mortar merchants.
• Provides a high-level view of discount/promotional programme to merchants. This enables the merchant to monitor participating dealers and distributors during promotional programmes.

Core Features

Merchant Management

• Allows the creation and management of merchants and related detail on the platform.
• The module shall send a merchant creations mail to merchant when a new merchant is created on the platform.

 Batch Merchant Upload/Setup

• Provides functionality that allows the upload of merchant’s details for setup on the platform.
• Set up of merchant discount rules etc.
• The provide support for .csv files for upload.

 Sub Merchant Management

• The module allows the creation and management of merchants by a (super) merchant.
• The module shall support the creation and management of sub-merchants by the platform administrators on behalf of a (super) merchant.

Merchant Product Category Management

• The module shall support the creation and management of a merchant’s product categories.
• Provides support for batch upload of product categories, via .csv files.
• It shall provide a report of a merchant’s product categories and their statuses.

Merchant Discount Rate Configuration

• This module supports the setup of discount rates for each product category of the merchant.
• The discount rate could be a percentage, with an upper and lower limit, or a fixed amount.

Merchant Discount Redemption Report

• The application provides discount redemption reports to merchants and platform administrators.
• The report can be exported in .csv or .pdf

 Coupon Generation & Issuance API

• This application provides functionality for the generation of sales coupons on request by third party systems.
• It issues coupons to 3^rd party systems on demand. This module provides APIs for term party system

Coupon Issuance Report

• The application provides a report of issued coupons to merchant/super merchant.
• The reports can be exported in .csv and pdf.

Discount Redemption

• The module provides functionality enables merchants to liquidate a customer’s coupon for a discount.

 Mobile Compliant Interface

• The application can be accessed via mobile devices and renders optimally. Supported mobile platforms include, Android, Apple iOS, Blackberry 10 and Windows 8

Web-Based User Interface

• The portal is implemented as a single central installation accessible from a standard web browser over the internet
• In order for back office users to gain access to back office system features, the application requires the users to authenticate themselves using unique and secure username and passwords.
• The application manages the authentication credential of public users and enforces the configured authentication policy.

 User Role Management

• This provides functionality for the creation or modification of roles as well as assignment or reassignment of rights to create and modify other roles within the system
• User roles are defined by assigning functions (activities) that may be executed by each role including but not restricted to Create/Edit, View, Enable/Disable of system entities and the use of certain application features.
• The application shall be implemented with 2 roles setup by default. The roles shall include “system admin” and “customer”.

 User Management

• This module provides functionality for the creation or modification of back office user information as well as user assignment or reassignment to predefined user roles on the system.
• These user roles have fixed access and interactive privileges based on the purpose of each user in the system and according to the functions defined for that user at configuration time.

 Approval Management

• Allows authorized users specify activities that require approval and assigns user roles to approve such activities
• Enforces that changes to the system specified to require approval are approved before they take effect
• Allows for changes to be declined thereby preventing them from taking effect

Loyalty Dashboard   

• This provides an interface notifying customers if the is any pending reward to redeem.
• The dashboard shall provide a button that would allow customers to retrieve their rewards.

 Reward Categories

• This interface shows the available reward category the customer can select from based on their reward band.

Category

• This interface shows the merchants that are available under a specific reward category based on customer reward band.
• This interface shall provide a button that would enable customers retrieve their rewards.

Merchant Dashboard

• The application shall provide a dashboard for merchant users.
• The dashboard shall provide key information and details such as last logged in date/time and others, as configured during solution implementation.

• The module shall send a sub merchant creations mail to sub merchant when a new sub merchant is created on the platform.
